KATKA ADAMS

Katka came to Australia as a small child with her family as a political refugee when Czechoslavakia was invaded by Russia in 1969. Those early years and the time spent alone led her to explore art at an early age. She is now an accomplished full time artist who has won numerous awards. She exhibits regularly in group exhibitions and a soloist. Using pastel as her medium her work is both imaginative and thought provoking with a strong narrative element.
